There are moments in life that all of a sudden lead us to new and sometimes deep experiences that may show us a path or manner that we have been looking for through the life.
Taraneh (36) a resident of Tehran and an architect, says that she found this path by an unconscious whirling affected by the ecstasy and joy of listening to music without knowing anything about “Sama”.
A way to achieve inner peace and freedom, like the swirling she used to do in her childhood that she had done with ecstasy and happiness. After this experience, she started to learn Sama dance and has been doing it since then. she claims that it’s a placeless and timeless experience that anyone with any belief can do it.
She says that She likes to do Sama dance in the streets, but she is bounded to his own house! In Iran, most of sports activities are forbidden for women in public places.
