Malavan men’s football team’s relegation from the Iran Pro League led to speculation about cost-cutting measures. The CEO of Malavan Club commented on the situation, comparing it to a vessel unloading its cargo during a storm. Consequently, the Malavan Women’s team was disbanded on July 29, 2016. However, after a two-year hiatus, the Malavan women’s team has made a comeback in Iranian football. Several former players have returned to Anzali to support their team.

سقوط تیم فوتبال مردان ملوان از لیگ برتر ایران و متعاقب آن بحران، شایعاتی را در مورد کاهش هزینه های این باشگاه به راه انداخت. مدیرعامل باشگاه ملوان پس از مصاحبه انتقادی یکی از بازیکنان تیم بانوان ملاوان گفت: وقتی کشتی در طوفان گرفتار می شود، بار خود را تخلیه می کند. سرانجام در 8 تیر 1395 انحلال پرافتخارترین تیم فوتبال بانوان ایران رسما اعلام شد. حالا بعد از دو سال تیم بانوان ملوان به فوتبال ایران بازگشته است. بسیاری از بازیکنان سابق به انزلی بازگشته اند تا با تیم خود همراهی کنند.

Arisa roodbari, 23, is Iranian-Japanese. She came to Iran 6 months ago. Formerly, she played for Japanese local teams. She has been chosen as a palyer for Malavan.

Raha Yazdani, 30, has been playing football for 4 years. She served as a forward and midfielder in Zob Ahan and Shahrdary clubs. However, she serves as a goalkeeper in the new round of Malavan preparation.

Maryam irandoost, 39, has been serving both as a player and a coach for 14 years. For the past two years she played for a Turkish team and she is back to Malavan.
