Hussein Mousavi, a dirt field footballer, had a passion for football but faced barriers as an Afghan immigrant to enter Iranian football. He turned to futsal instead and eventually found his way to the Afghanistan National Youth Team after undergoing multiple talent tests.
Returning to Golshahr, Mashhad from Tashkent, Hussein earned a second-place medal in the competition and received commendations from the President, Chief Executive of the Afghanistan Government, and others.
His impressive performances caught the attention of foreign league teams, and he accepted an offer from a Lebanese team to experience a new futsal environment in the Lebanese league for a few months.
Despite his success, Hussein remains connected to the dirt fields, motivating younger players to strive for excellence, personal growth, and deserving achievements.
