After two years!

After a two-year absence, the Malavan women’s football team has returned to Anzali city under new ownership. In 2016, a controversy erupted among Malavan fans when the club’s CEO remarked , “We have many mouths to feed. When a storm-lashed ship is sinking, it starts unloading extra burdens.” This statement was widely criticized for being sexist, undermining women’s capabilities in playing football on par with men. However, now the team is back, and many former players have returned to Anzali city to support their team.

در سال 2016، پس از آن که مدیرعامل باشگاه ملاوان گفت: “ما دهان های زیادی برای تغذیه داریم. وقتی کشتی طوفان زده در حال غرق شدن است، شروع به تخلیه بار اضافی می کند، بحث و جدل در میان هواداران ملوان بالا گرفت.” این بیانیه به طور گسترده به عنوان جنسیت گرایی تلقی می شد و توانایی زنان را برای انجام این ورزش برابر با مردان، ناچیز می دانست. اما پس از دو سال غیبت، تیم بانوان ملوان با مالکی جدید بازگشته است. بسیاری از بازیکنان سابق به انزلی بازگشته اند تا تیم خود را همراهی کنند.
