Fereshteh Eslahi

She is a documentary photographer from Iran.

Her passion lies in exploring diverse cultures, capturing their unique stories, and delving into the complexities of human nature. She has a keen eye for the often overlooked details that reveal the depth and diversity of behaviors within different societies and cultures.

Eslahi completed her master's degree in theater art at the University of Tehran and has been working as a photojournalist for Iranian news agencies since 2014.

In 2017, she joined the Iranian Press Photographers Association, and in 2020, she became a member of Podium Photos. Additionally, she actively participated in the Podium Mentorship Program group.

Fereshteh Eslahi was awarded the 3rd prize in the sports story category at the 2021 World Press Photo Award for her story titled "Thought of Flight."
