Despite the nationwide quarantine measures implemented to curb the spread of Covid-19, a group of Afghan workers in Iran finds themselves unable to adhere to social distancing guidelines. These individuals, who have remained in Iran due to various circumstances, continue to work for a daily wage of 700,000 IRR. On their only day off, they engage in a game of football at nearby sports facilities, disregarding the closure of such venues as a precautionary measure against the coronavirus outbreak. Afghan officials expressed their concerns regarding the potential health risks associated with this situation.
